The Mayor shall hire a City Clerk. The City Clerk shall give notice of council meeting to its members and the public and shall keep the journal of its proceedings which shall be a public record. The City Clerk is also the designated Public Records Custodian and Records Management Liaison Officer (RMLO) for the City of Fanning Springs. The City Clerk is also the liaison between the City Council, Mayor, and the Public.
